The Workshop "Frontiers in Black Hole Physics at Dubna" is organized by the Bogoliubov
Laboratory of Theoretical Physics (BLTP)
of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR).
It will be held in the framework of the joint agreement between BLTP and the Asia Pacific
Centre for Theoretical Physics (APCTP).
The Workshop continues a series of conferences on gravity, cosmology and astrophysics organized
by APCTP and the Theoretical Physics Institute (TPI) of the University of Alberta, Canada.
The conferences have been held annually since 2004 either in Canada or at APCTP (Pohang, Korea).
The arrival and departure dates of the participants are May 24 and May 31.
Transportation from the Sheremetyevo International Airport to Dubna and back
will be provided by the Organizers.
The Workshop is organized after
4th International Sakharov Conference on Physics to be held in Moscow, May 18-23, 2009. Those who
wish to participate both in the Workshop and in the Sakharov Conference, please, inform the Organizers on
the early accommodation starting from May 23. One can reach Dubna from Moscow either by a commuter train or by bus.

The programme of the Workshop is supposed to focus on theoretical aspects of black hole physics,
cosmology and related topics. The Workshop is expected to hold 6 working days. The number of talks
will be limited so that to reserve one hour for each talk from a leading expert. The selection
of speakers is by decision of the International Organizing Committee.

The Workshop fee is 200 Euro. It covers transportation from the Sheremetyevo International Airport
to Dubna and back, social programme, refreshments during the breaks, the welcome party and the banquet.
If the transportation from the airport is not required the workshop fee is reduced to 120 Euro.
The Organizing Committee is looking for a possibility of providing the financial support for the
participants from Russia and other members of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
